LOKI KI QATLAIN

Ingredients
Loki 1 kg, Milk 2 cups, Sugar 1 ½ cup, Small Cardamom 5 – 7, Almond and Pistachios ½ cup, Green Food Colour ½ tsp, Harpal Banaspati 1 cup.
Directions
Peel and cut the loki into small pieces. In a heavy pan add the loki, 2 cups of milk and small cardamoms and simmer over low heat till tender. Remove from heat. Mash the loki with the help of a fork. Dissolve the sugar in ½ cup of water and cover over low heat till the water thickens. Add the mashed loki to the water along with the mashed almonds and pistachios. Turn the heat to high and stir whilst gradually adding Harpal VTF Banaspati. Finally add the green food colour and stir fry till the ghee separates.
