MUTTON CHOPS WITH SAUCE
Ingredients
Mutton Chops 6 – 7 Salt As per taste, Garlic Cloves 10 – 12, Yogurt 1/2 cup, Turmeric 1/2 tsp, Onion 2 medium, Black Peppercorn 1 tsp, Whole Corriander 1 tbsp, Aniseeds 1 tbsp, Small Cardamom 4, Cinnamon 1 small piece, Harpal Cooking Oil 3 – 4 tbsp.
Directions
Wash chops thoroughly and put in a strainer – in the meantime finely slice onions Slightly dry roast peppercorn, whole coriander, aniseeds, cardamom and cinnamon on griddle. Then grind them all finely Blend garlic cloves with yogurt and mix with grounded spices Marinate chops with this mixture and refrigerate for half an hour in a pan Sprinkle salt and turmeric on chops and add half a cup of water. Cook on medium heat for 5 – 7 minutes, lower once it starts cooking When chops get tender, take out from the pan and keep them separately. Cook gravy to make it thick Heat Harpal Cooking Oil in a frying pan and fry onions till golden, then add chops and fry Meanwhile, when the gravy thickens – pour on to fried chops and mix thoroughly
